Originating in many countries, where Oksana toured, the pieces often came to life impulsively, recreating a memoir or happening in the life of the composer. Wonderful images – "Blue Sky Melody", "Sun's Ray", "Autumn Dreams", "Rain Fantasy" – open up a curious world, painted with colors of music. With light, impressionistic touches the images charm with finds of timbre and strains of finesse. The music of these and many other pieces seems to be enveloped by some mystery, secreted deep in the soul of its author, who confides only in her bandura. The unusual combination of bandura, flute, cello and string quartet successfully transmits the dreamy mood of Oksana Herasymenko's music.
