This collection is a greeting to everybody who has already lived approximately a quarter of a century. Why? Simply because, as my observations show, the greater part of young inhabitants of our parts (or those who come from our parts) mostly do not know what bard songs are. At that, I mean exactly our parts, since in the West this phenomenon had somewhat different form and was not so much spread or popular as it was here. Here, in our parts, even today many people know who, for example, Bulat Akudzhava, is - though not all of them know what he was singing about. However that may be, but Tryzubyi Stas, who is also called Stanislav Shcherbatykh, is an experienced Ukrainian bard who has all necessary attributes of this genre. He composes verses by himself, he accompanies himself on an acoustic guitar. With his verses, he both laughs and grieves, or simply ponders over our life, which is so multicoloured. At the first sight he seems to be a usual person, still having a bit more attentive look at different demonstration of life. That's why, if you are not lazy to think over things you are listening to, in this album you will probably find some observations, which are worth while pondering over. Or, as minimum, you will find here the picture of an epoch - if we use this word in terms of the last fifteen-twenty years of Ukrainian realities. Somewhat amusing, and somewhat sad.

This seems to be that very bardic song, although in the sounding there is now more transparent, delicate sense, which is conveyed not with words, but exactly with music. But at the same time, the word has not become less significant. As it should be when the issue is intelligent, thought over, internally experienced texts, not just rhymed lines of certain meters.

Впервые услышал Тризубого Стаса в начале 90-х на волнах Проминя и всё время хотел купить сначала кассеты с его записями, а потом и диски. Но на Украине вообще трудно купить что-то украинское, как музыку, так и фильмы, а про Тризубого Стаса в магазинах вообще не слыхали. Хорошо, хоть через этот сайт повезло купить его песни, хоть и не все, что я слышал. Надеюсь, в продаже появятся диски с другими его песнями. Жаль, что его уже нет с нами. Вот кто действительно болел за Украину всем сердцем.

Відмінна колекція. Нажаль, це дуже мала частка творчості Стаса. До цих 4-х дисків в нього було аж 10 альбомів! Хоч би знайшовся якийсь меценат та допоміг їх перевидати хоч посмертно...

Сегодня Стаса отпевают в церкви на Аскольдовой могиле, похоронят во Франковске...

Дуже приємно, що Тризубий Стас продовжує свою діяльність. Я є його давнім поціновувачем. Пісні співаються із душею, що притамане гарному бардівському виконанню, і тому їх цікаво слухати не один раз.

Мені 57 років, мабуть тому зміст пісень Тризубого Стаса дуже близько лежить біля мого зрозуміння того, що відбувається в Україні. Вперше я почув його пісні, ще на початку незалежності (Віка, Брати Гадюкіни), зміст пісень не старіє і сьогодні все є в нашому житті.
Эти песни пришлись бы по-душе многим жителям Донецка, к сожалению они их не слышат, я очень рекомендую прислушаться и получить возможность увидеть мир иронично и с любовью представленный Стасом. Хай нам щастить!
