So far, our visitors had a chance to hear only one track by Igor Zhuk – "Two of Us", his joint album with Olha Bohomolets. However, I think, that was already enough to understand: his songs are worth attentive listening. Not because, actually, they are complicated – no, though he is an astrophysicist – but because they are accurate and transparent. Honest. With the songs, when listening to them, one sometimes thinks: everything will pass, both rock, and pop, and the rest. The only thing that ever stays is simple songs with guitar accompaniment. Bards. Blues. For everything superfluous always withers – no matter, whether you water it with cognac, or fertilize it with caviar. While the laconic, precise, ironic word – will live. Of course, if we continue requiring words...
