For the first time I heard playing by "Kyiv Soloists" and Myroslava Kotorovych when they performed pieces by Astor Piazzolla – and that was when I fell in love with music by Piazzolla. I will not be surprised at all if something of the kind will happen to you today as well. Regardless of whether you have already heard the pieces by Skoryk, Schumann, Hachaturian, Stankovych represented here – now, for certain, you will fall in love with them. Either again or for the first time – there is no difference. And there are no explanations. Just this ability – to convey music not only to the ear but also to the heart – it is either there, or it is not. One can only state that – not explain. I personally consider that both the ensemble, and Myroslava have this ability to its full, and for this reason any music in their performance sounds bright, enchanting – and intimate. They play as though for the whole world – but also as if only for you and only now. However, the listener must also conscientiously perform his/her attentive, concentrated and relaxed work – otherwise, honest exchange will not be possible. Not to speak – to listen.
