As in 2008 Ukraine is represented at Eurovision exactly by Ani Lorak – there is nothing strange about that this mini-album has seen the light of the day actually simultaneously with the latter's departure for the competition. Actually, it is the title song – "Shady Lady" – that has become the song for the competition. But what is interesting: disregarding the rather moderate size, the disc "Shady Lady" can, probably, be considered one of the best ones in Ani Lorak's discography. For, first, it represents her singing in all the three languages that she usually operates. And the fact that two songs (in Russian and in Ukrainian) are already familiar to us from the album "15" does not spoil anything. In the end, it is they – and especially "I Will Become A Sea" – that were virtually the best ones there. Well, and secondly – the disc "Shady Lady" looks very diversified and saturated. That is, when it sounds, you will hear not just five songs, but five bright, expressive images-moods-feelings. In each case, they sound different, but each time – convincing. Although it still a bit of a pity that at the competition Karolina did not sing in Ukrainian...
