The project Olya & Monstr is a sort of reincarnation of the Odessa group Airplane, which existed at the end of the 1990s and even had time to release one album with the same name. Actually, Olya – Olga Pulatova – is now better known due to her participation in the group Fleur. But, as we can see, Fleur's success does not prevent her from searching for some new ways and planes – and this is good. Olga's ability to compose bright texts remains at its height here as well. As well as her performance talent. The force and understanding with which she conveys such different emotions, feelings in her singing – take one away. From transparent tenderness to a bellicose call, from concentrated reflections to complete relaxation, from despair to quiet joy – but, in any case, with a considerable deal of contemplation. Multiplied by the obvious music talents of Olexiy "Monster" Radionov, it results in appearance of another pearl – not too loud yet, but interesting. That is, we would not doubt that not everyone will like this music – but. For those who will truly hear it, with the internal hearing – the word "to like" will be, sure, too vague. Sometimes, the impression is that when listening to this album we are just one fourth of a step away from something that cannot even fit in geography of separate countries, but that will sound for the whole world. We will see how it goes on. But to feel this already now, in this work – it is very pleasant.

By the way, the already mentioned album "Airplane" was released by the recording house Quasi Pop Records, and not by chance – the latter, in general, deals with special, "non-alike" music. And recently a disc that can be considered a delicate masculine response to the fragile female refinement of Airplane and Olya & Monster has been released. That is the Kyiv project Ivan Samshit – a beautiful combination of the elegant and distanced, of simplicity and beauty…
