Probably, we have been lacking this kind of a fairy-tale for a long time already. They've succeeded during the last few decades in making something so large, mammoth, hard, heavy out of the personality of Taras Shevchenko – as though he has never been a man, an adolescent, a boy, a baby. As if he did not grow up, get surprised, have fun and laugh – but from the very start was that Kobzar. Personally I was deprived of the desire to read his poems attentively for a few years by such feature of secondary education... I think that if, instead of reading the dry biography I had an opportunity to listen to a sort of such fairy-tale – everything would go a bit differently. Here, he is a child, and with a child, you should agree, it is much easier to make friends than with a serious adult. At least, when you are a child yourself. Thus – would you wish to try? The more so that the story is narrated by several voices, expressively and picturesquely. I seem to no longer be a child – and, all the same, it was interesting to listen. And, you know, some bricks are now put back where they belong...
