The group "L'vivs'ki Muzyky" has lived for almost 20 years already, during this time it has managed to achieve disposition of a wide circle of listeners – and not only at home, but also abroad. But these times were not that easy – at least, for Ukraine. That is why it is both strange, and pleasant that the group has still managed to preserve its own, specific sounding – soft, joyful, friendly. Songs performed by "L'vivs'ki Muzyky" seem to just radiate cheerful, light feelings. And the new album of the group proves again that smiles have not yet disappeared from this world. "Day-Dreaming Dreams" is a disc devoted to Ukrainian folk songs, and not too well-known ones. It is not occasional that the group is called "L'vivs'ki Muzyky" – probably, they have traveled quite a bit in the Western Ukraine in order to collect such songs. There is in them something special – that really distinguishes them from songs of the Central or Eastern Ukraine. Besides, the group added new colors to them – but arranged them with care, without superfluous motions. That is why at the forefront there appears the beauty of each separate song – this beauty is not hidden for the wish of stunning the listener with something fanciful. It is pleasant when something is done not for the sake of some kind of glory, but just – so that it were beautiful. It looks like that here – it is done exactly like that.
