Nice thins can be simple not losing their charm, speaking to the very deep of your senses, binding with a fine thread the coarse sheets of habits. We get into the habit and lose sight of it. We need clear lines to unwrap, to straighten our sight lost in routine – Roman Kolyada knows, and studies how to draw such lines. His melodies live in melancholy nuances, still filling them with clear, calm optimism. Maybe it misses the reserved calmness, though it says about the understanding: the one can fly up who accepts. So the water can transform into a cloud, into ice, and still come back to itself. But every time different. Emotional but sincere attempt to reconcile with oneself as the first steps to freedom. However, any step here is the first one, clear as our imagination can be we still step forward to unknown, don’t we? What we need are those clear lines inside, and there is a feeling that "Love and Separation Dance" is woven just out of these lines. Simple things can be nice, so, they just can be, not needing any additional explanation. Anton Jozhik Leyba (Hedgehog) Roman Kolyada - piano (1-13), melodica (1,2), rainstick (2) Alex Smirnov - flute (2,13), saxophone (13) Sergey Rybalkin - guitar (13) Victor Krysko - violin (13)

...it seems that "Legend" is currently the best album by Dmytro Krasnoukhov. At least in what regards inner harmony, balance, confidence in pauses – this is a different degree of attention, clarity, skills. No hurry, fuss, the whole album is a natural flow...

This time, Dmitry does not prefer any specific paint – he transparently combines sounding of the piano and electronic keys. Therefore, music of the album lives somewhere between neo-classicism and ambient – while light folklore motives pop up sometimes as well. On the whole, it seems to me, "On the Wave's Wings" is music of the peaceful world. The world where people can and are not afraid to love.

"Flight to the History" is a concert recording of the performance that took place in spring 2007. It clearly reflects the professional level of the musicians, the quality of their music – and only confirms the pleasant impression caused by studio recordings by the group.

One can hear that every piece was worked out attentively, without haste – and each of them fills the air, as if sunbeams, warmly and transparently. And this makes the music by the group accessible for all – it will identically well match home coziness, and a concert hall, and strolls round the city, and out-of-town silence.

Recently, Dmytro Krasnouhov has released two new discs at once – "Magic World" is one of them. And this is really a magic world of transparent simplicity, some almost childish ability to notice small secrets inside of every ordinary day – the ability to see bright adventures where hustling people see names only.

Philip Dovgan is quite a young composer, now he is only 14. However, it did not prevent him from recording a full-value author disc. Moreover, the "Constellation of Dolphins" is not just a selection of compositions by Philip, this is an album, which has its concept and integral structure.

...synthesized sounding performs the role of the background, adds colors, hint at the mood. No more. Here – all the same, piano melodies form the basis, and development of each piece, each theme takes place exactly following the logic of piano playing. Thus – it is pleasant to admit – these are again the melodies that are surprisingly soft, transparent, tender.

Under his hands, real piano is born – light, soft, tender plays captivate, make things around very simple. And how many melodies, how many faces, and all of them are different, but all of them have eyes of the same color – pure. It is important.

Piano sketches by Roman Kolyada resemble emotional imprints of states, moods, situations. But listen to these moments: behind them, as if behind changeable mosaics of sun glares on the water canvas, there looms – the soft power of the quiet stream that cannot be stopped either with wind, or with a paddle...

Myroslav Levytsky, as known, is one of the brothers who founded the jazz group "Braty Bluzu", which is significant for Ukraine. Today we offer to you to deeper, more attentively estimate Myroslav both as a composer, and as a pianist. Because, first, he just deserves that, and secondly – because what if not a solo album creates the best opportunity for this?

An extremely light and transparent record – though one would not say that it is easy music. Actually, jazz is never too simple – even if it looks so. That is what we may observe in music by Neonila Lagodjuk – simplicity that appears as a result of extensive experience and persevering work.

Masterly patterns painted in the air by gentle movements of fantasy and skill are extremely tender and tempestuous at the same time. They resemble the southern heat reproduced at the transparent windowpane by frost and rime.
