Especially if you have watched-heard-read her recent interviews. Amazon, a warrior woman... Yes, Ruslana has really transformed into that. But – and that is the essence! – the emphasis is not on the word "warrior", but on the word "woman". Strong, self-confident, decisive, experienced, concentrated, able and ready for precise actions – the woman. Tender, caring, loving, open, but for this reason paradoxically invulnerable, unattainable for blows – the warrior... In spite of the fact that this album is an electronic one, personally I associate it with my childhood, though being a child I knew nothing about electronic music. May be, the explanation is that the album contains the melodies, which I heard by radio in those times.

Ruslana's music takes you into a new world full of mysticism, power and good feelings. Amazonka is another example of those things. Through this cd you will find a new remake of Wild Energy, dance track like new energy generation, bce he te or not for sale, new sounds like moon of dreams, the energy of love or track 7. Over all this collection I would like to emphasize two song: silent angel and heaven never makes us fall. To sum up, Amazonka is a cd that will give you the chance of having a great time and travel around oneself and over ground the air.

Although none of the tracks are in English, that was expected. I loved this album for many reasons, and it's too difficult to pick just one track as my favorite one. Ruslana's sound is unique and extremely empowering as she exudes wild feminine energy and also slow steady tenderness in her music. This album is different than Wild Dances, so don't expect a replica or anything of her previous album. She does include some familiar sounds, but the album Amazonka stands alone. Her voice and her music echo an ancient spirit long believed to be just a myth. From one Amazon to another, I'm completely proud of her and satisfied with the album (can only hope she releases an English version as well, because I will purchase that too!) Thank you!

Dear Ruslana, fantastic CD you have made. I love its power and theese intros between every songs. They're connecting them together. Wild Energy and Moon of Dreams are lovable songs, I love how she's increasing her voice in Wild Energy in the refrain. The best of Moon of dreams is its ukrainian edition (Czech version is also including English edition with T-Pain). Fire or Ice, New Energy Generation and Not for Sale are masterpieces in the land of power, they will make you dancing. Hear them and they will surround you forever.

Про альбом мог бы даже сказать, что он на уровне европейских стандартов качественной поп-музыки, но только на кого сегодня равняться - и назвать порой непросто... А на этом альбоме - непростые и красивые мелодические решения, тонкое вплетение этники в канву музыкального рисунка, безупречный вокал Русланы, да и эстетичность оформления. Очень удачен и хорошо продуманный плавный переход от трека к треку. Отлично!

Ruslana - Amazonka
The album opens dramatically with Wild Energy, which flows beautifully with driving percussion, piano and a much improved arrangement from the original simpler techno single version.
Moon of Dreams maintains the excellence, one of the standout tracks with strong melody, sharp ethnic flavour and this should be a hit in any country.
New Energy Generation is powerful pop, very eighties with biting guitars and a full powerful all-round production.
I Follow The Night slows down the pace with another beautiful melody, some welcome acoustic sounds, which help to keep the epic feel even in quieter moments such as the sound of the sea.
Heaven Never Makes Us Fall: this song was a key element of Ruslana's new show as debuted in Azerbaijan and its catchy chorus makes it a song that could be covered successfully by other artists.
Bce He Te is a classic Ruslana pop track with a surprise ending. Up next is a guitar driven sexy slowburner which then takes us on to Silent Angel, one of the album's anthems that is excellently produced here (sounding much better than when performed live previously) and again sounds quite eighties influenced but with that unique Ruslana touch.
Not For Sale is one of my favourite tracks on the album, bouncing pure pop that is great to dance to.
The Energy of Love: The big ballad finish, brilliant vocals as always, strings adding colour to the overall sound, this will sound even better at Christmas time.
Amazonka is brilliant, spectacular, beautiful, clever, iconic and unique to my ears. Congratulations Ruslana.
