Anytchka. Yanholy v nebi. Christmas Carols. (Angels in the Sky)

Actually, it is the only album by Anytchka that so far has somehow not got into our catalogue. It's nice that now we've filled this gap. The more pleasant that we obtained the disc a few weeks before Christmas – i.e., very timely. Moreover, Anytchka is one of those singers whose work always causes interest of fans of the Ukrainian music. And rightly so. For she, first, from the outset focused on modernization of the Ukrainian folk songs' sounding (in particular – Lemky ones, and for that separate gratitude is addressed to her). And, secondly – from the very beginning, she has been trying to do it at a high quality, diversely, professionally. And usually she succeeds. The Christmas carols album is no exception – everything is done well, and it is really nice listening to it. After all, Christmas albums can only be subdivided into two groups: those that create the atmosphere of celebration and mystery – and those that do not. Carols performed by Anytchka we, will no doubt, attribute to the first type...
