Verka Serduchka. The Best.

For the first and the latest time Verka Serdyuchka released a collection of the best songs rather long ago - about five years have passed since then. During this period of time, both the repertoire and the very image of Serdyuchka have acquired new features, turning what used to be a funny joke into real grotesque - that far not everybody considers funny. And this even seems a little bit weird - since right now this character's presence on our scene is absolutely frank, outright banter. And, thus, it is right now that it is more than before necessary to treat Serdyuchka simply and easily - as any expressive farce that by and by transforms into tragicomedy. And this, you should agree, it not that easy - because some always regard this sort of things too seriously. And where a smile disappears - spears start clashing... However, the true Serdyuchka will anytime and anywhere dance on broken spears easily and naturally, for today only the fair elves are able to do that together with her - and they, quite evidently, form a minority...
