Borys Hmyrya. From the Treasury of the World Performing Arts.

"Edvard Grieg composed music for 125 Norwegian songs. In the repertoire of Borys Hmyrya – 11 of them, and only 9 are recorded, which were offered on the disc. Under the influence of poetry by H. Andersen, E. Grieg created a series of romances titled "Melodies of the Heart". This is a hymn to arts, nature, the first youth love. This collection includes the world famous romances "I Love You" and "The Poet's Heart". The love theme in songs by Grieg-Andersen, as well as in folk poetry, are closely linked with nature. And this is understandable. Only in nature and through it you can find the purity and lyrical originality of the feeling that permeated music by Grieg and poetry by Andersen...

And this is what happened to "Lullaby" by W.A.Mozart in China. After the concert a lot of people approached Vira Avgustivna Hmyrya and asked: "Does Borys Romanovych like children so much?" Vira Avgustivna answers herself: "I think those who asked me, as I well as I did, saw in front of them not a singer but a gentle and loving father in a dim room leaning over a child.
