Their first album, "Buduvudu" was a couple years ago one of the best Ukrainian rock debuts – not every work by even famous musicians excites such demand as they managed to. However, it was fair enough. Well, and the second album – that is more quality and craftsmanship, more self-awareness. More questions – and, perhaps, more open answers... Actually, let's dare the following quote: "...my life over the last two years. During this time, I tried to change, because true freedom in this system is hidden only in the option "change oneself". All the rest is its pathetic replica! It is not possible to overcome one's own nature. It preconditions everything and every moment it pushes forward. Changing one's intentions "not for the sake of oneself" – that's the key to the elevator that raises over it into unity and infinity..." In spite of the love and respect of the group participants for works by "Beatles" stated in the autobiography, this is not about copying, imitation – and it is good. Perhaps, the only common feature is that the "Asymmetry of Emotions" also plays pop-rock. Maybe, with the prefix "indie". And, of course, very emotional.

Virtually every second song is a real long ballad with a number of details, nuances in the story. And if they were performed with a full-fledged rock composition and the proper arrangement – this would be songs that are10-15 minutes long, or even more. But here, in the acoustic version, everything is compact, expressed, clear.

"Opium" honestly searches for its own rock language in texts and in music, and this is nice. In our opinion, "Opium" plays simple classic rock – and this, you should agree, is not that easy. Besides, the song lyrics do not resemble a simple set of rhymes and meter at all – the experience lived through, live thoughts and feelings are obviously inlaid into these words.

..the debut disc by the group "Dalai Lama" is a mouthful of cheerful hope indeed. Not least of all – due to diversity of the material. Dalai Lama switches from alternative rock to grunge, mixes up punk and disco, changes the internal tension of trip-hop for the seeming transparency of post-rock, quotes funk inside out, just has fun with the sound – and does it confidently.

Just rock. Lyrical, young, sometimes dreamy – but, the main thing, honest. One never stops being surprised that during the recent years appearance of this sort of groups has become really rare – therefore one is happy to see every fresh figure. The more so – when, as in the case of Znak Vody, everything develops harmoniously.

Motor'rolla, disregarding obstacles, has managed to make a step ahead in quality – it seems that right now the group has finally found its real sounding, has reached a sort of their own standard. From punk to hard-rock, from pop-metal to ballads in the rock-modern manner – however, the features so unnoticeably flow from one to another that they are not worth clinging tight to. The main thing is that energy of these guys is quite evident and nice. And all the rest – is already just a matter of taste.

"Flit" does such simple and pure rock, that it is even hard to describe and explain it. But - it is pleasant to listen. Here there is nothing too much – too much weights, sweets, luster etc. It’s not underground, but not a soap. Everything is simple. Simple rock.

Motor’rolla became virtually the first Ukrainian rock group with its own DJ as a participant. Moreover, the group, as they put it, keeps the character – it stays irreconcilable to the unfriendly reality. At that, this irreconcilability refers both to some sheer social phenomena and events, and internal ones.
