Ukrainian folk ensemble "Berehynia". (2CD).

"Berehynya" is not simply an ensemble; this is the theatre of the Ukrainian folklore. This is the ensemble which has already twice become a laureate of the International contest. Though the album, presented by us, contains no videotape recording, still it is comprised of two disks. You yourselves understand that a double album implies much music, so you will have the opportunity to estimate all variety of the creative achievements of "Berehynya". And here - believe me - there is much to be estimated: Christmas carols, shchedrivkas, vesnysnkas, kupalski songs, wedding songs, lyrical songs, Cossack songs, street songs and lyrical ballads, songs about a woman's fate - as we can see, the ensemble pays much attention to a great diversity of songs resplendence. For those who are connoisseurs of all that, I will add that from a geographical point of view the object of the ensemble's research is the Central region of Ukraine. And for the rest of the audience I will add that when a nice song is nicely performed, you have the chance to feel the history from inside, to revive it for yourself at the level of subconsciousness. To preserve it. It is exactly for this purpose that "Berehynya" exists.
