Children folklore ensemble "Tsviten'", Ukrainian National Honoured Academic Folk Chorus named G. Veryovka. Tsviten'. Ukrainian folk authentic songs. | | Track Reviews (3) |
"Tsviten’" is children folklore ensemble at the Ukrainian National Chorus named after H.Ver'ovka. It was the first one in Kyiv, so at present the ensemble is already 20 years old – and that, as well as Hrygory Ver'ovka's name, at once tells you something about quality. However, the name of the immediate manager is also well known to us – it is Maria Pylypchak. You had the opportunity to come across the wonderful album of authentic lullabies performed by her here earlier – in fact, it is still here. Well, and "Tsviten’" has several trump cards at once. The first one is that the ensemble is that of children and youth. Thus, it raises the future of our variety art. You will hear – great hopes sing here. Besides, children's choruses have always raised genuine interest of the public. Then – the fact that the ensemble goes in for performance of the song material without additional arrangement. That is, the performance is as close as possible to the authentic one – and that is both not easy, and interesting. Well, and the last trump is the unconditional professionalism, mastery of this collective. And, you know, not every "adult" ensemble is capable of presenting such high quality, to say nothing about children's ensembles.

...And thus with the first song one wants to raise the glass, and with the following – one want to forget about the glass forever. So, different songs sound here, for different moods. But I am sure that they would not be even half that convincing unless the force of performance – and some songs really fascinate, that is how they sing them.
