Ovsianikov & Yeresko Band. OrganiZZmo.
At the first minute of sounding, one already starts thinking something like: that’s curious – to so elegantly play music inflammatory by definition. And somewhere around the last minute of the album one confidently enough reaches the conclusion that Kyiv – is still not that Northern, but rather a Southern city. At least, in some smiling displays. Well, and between the first and the last minutes one does not really care about thoughts – because there is a great temptation to just listen, absorb all the waves and internal flows of this music, and there are no reasons to resist such temptation. "OrganiZZmo" really successfully combines Latin American and European colors of jazz – absorbing the life-asserting sunniness of the former and the thoughtful precision of the latter, it does not attribute decisive advantage to any of them. Balancing delicately and carefully, the album in a pleasant way does not cause the feeling of tension – vice versa, this looks like a relaxed dance of a child, who plays with light waves of surf. Here is warm wind, here are salty sparks, wet sand and – no haste at all... It only happens at the moments when you are penetrated exceptionally with what takes place right now, and you do not bother thinking about what could – but did – not happen. Here real joy is born – that of living...

Cherkasy Jazz Quintet. Jazz album with a prologue and epilogue. /digi-pack/

Jazz music, by definition being in a permanent creative quest, at the same time possesses surprising tolerance and is not afraid to look back... The music represented on this disc suggests that we rewind the tape of history for about 50 (and more) years back and plunge in the times when (wonder!) music instruments were still the key transmitters and sources of music.

Rodion Ivanov, Max Gladetsky, Valeriy Volkov. More Than Words.

..it is very nice that we have succeeded in finding for our store – and, thus, for you – a few copies of the album "More than Words". This work – even though the recording was made in 2002, is a convincing illustration of that beautiful and high-quality music does not get old, does not become outdated. This is the beauty of free, self-confident people – seriously, just hear each of them..

Vladimir Zinkovsky. Music First!

Volodymyr obviously enjoys this music – and does prevent his colleagues from doing the same) Quietly, nicely, confidently and – in the best sense of it – modestly. One can say this far not about any album: this time the musicians came together exactly for the sake of the music-as-the-state..

Rodion Ivanov. Electric variete.

There is space for everything here – atmospheric electronics, funk, the decorations in the form of two very different but also very expressive female vocals, to say nothing about the wonderful instrumental improvisations, an so on, and so forth.. until it becomes clear that the style limits are only needed to be overcome.

Jazz Impression, Anatoly Alexanian. Full Moon In Korea.

This album is the last one in the Jazz Impression discography, because in 2008 Anatoly Alexanyan, sadly, passed away. But in some way it is also the first one in the Jazz Impression discography... The album introduced can also be referred to as a double one – because it consists of the material of two key pieces by Anatoly Alexanyan & Jazz Impression, namely "Full Moon In Korea" and "Marfa".

Nataliya Lebedeva Trio. Medium Cool live 2008.

All the musicians appear in some new, specific and delicate light - and, I believe, this is a merit of Lebedeva as a composer. It is not by chance that Igor Zakus at the beginning of the evening referred to her music as very female one... Expressive – and soft, caring; elegant, distinct – and, at the same time, very emotional, open to intercourse; sometimes anxious – and very lyrical...

Anatoly Alexanian, Alexey Krupsky, Jazz Impression. Marfa. /digi-pack/

This kind of 3D, really composer's vision in jazz is encountered far not every day – and certainly comes into notice. It thrills and inspires some, with some it causes protest – but, as a rule, does not leave indifferent. Because when a feeling stands behind music supported by a developed thought...

Sergiy Davydov. Ukrainian Jazz Round Dances.

It either laughs or winks wilily – or sounds with such pensive tenderness, such forgivene... There is the beauty of every minute, which does not depend on the past or the future, which is – just now, and for this reason – always.
Domestic price: 62.64UAH, International price: $13.92USD

Acoustic Quartet. USB-blues.

"USB-Blues" resembles meditation – mobile. And it is possible to really hear how the idea appears, the first step – and then it literally grows in front of your eyes, develops, blossoms. There appears the effect of presence – and, which is nice, repeated listening does not make it wash out. That is, there is a space of attention – both mutual, among the musicians, and individual attention..
Domestic price: 49.14UAH, International price: $10.92USD

Alexey Bogolyubov. My "Cool & Crazy" world. /digi-pack/

From the first seconds, the album tunes one into attentive perception – even if you have never before heard Olexiy Bogolyubov. And if you have already had the chance, it will a priori be interesting to listen. Internal harmony, balance both of each play and of the disc as a whole – pleasantly delights. "My "Cool & Crazy" World" is a beautiful, diversified work, in which Bogolyubov demonstrated himself well both as the performer, and as the composer.
