Do krynytsi. Collection of Songs for One's Soul. (To the Well)

The principle based on which this collection was organized is not that obvious – at least, for the one who was not engaged in this arrangement. However, that does not matter – the main this is that it were pleasant to listen to that. And it is really pleasant to listen to this – certainly, if you prefer the Ukrainian variety art in an updated format. The foundation of the collection is made up by songs by young performers who – meaning the performers – have not yet had time to become widely famous and popular. Not yet. Because, when listening to these songs, one somehow starts believing that there are really good chances for success. At least, some names are worth being memorized right now – and this is, probably, a good indicator. Moreover, a few very varied pieces appear in the collection, which cannot but be appreciated. Well, and, on the other hand, it is nice to see that old acquaintances – such as Ivan Popovych, Natalka Samsonova – do not lose their positions either, they sound fresh and cheerful even in such young environment.

Unfortunately, the quality of the 14^th track is not irreproachable – but, at the same time, exactly this song is one of the most interesting ones in the collection, that is why we still decided to offer the disc for your consideration.
